Actovegin (solution for injections)

Indications: In the combined therapy of metabolic and vascular disorders of the brain (the various forms of cerebrovascular insufficiency, dementia, traumatic brain injury), peripheral (arterial and venous) vascular disorders and their consequences (angiopathy, trophic ulcers), diabetic polyneuropathy.

The main effect of Actovegin is its ability to protect organs and tissues from damage in conditions of insufficient blood supply ( anti-ischemic effect ) . This effect is associated with hypoxic and antioxidant properties of Actovegin.
In addition to anti-ischemic effect Actovegin has complex metabolic effects associated with its constituent amino acids , micro and macro elements.
Improving the performance of intracellular enzyme systems , Actovegin enhances synthetic processes and thereby stimulate anabolism . As result - Actovegin improves tissue regeneration , repairs damaged tissues.
