Vasobral®

Each tablet contains : alpha dihydroergocriptine - 2mg + caffeine 20mg.
Vasobral® is a combined medicine. Its active ingredients (Dihydroergocriptine + Caffeine) act in such a way that they stimulate the receptors of the central nervous system, as a result of which there is an improvement in blood circulation and metabolism in the brain.
The components of Vasobral® cause a decrease in the adhesion of platelets and red blood cells and a decrease in the permeability of the walls of blood vessels. Brain tissue resistance to hypoxia increases (lack of oxygen due to poor supply of the brain, or due to impaired oxygen absorption by the brain).
The preventive effect of Vasobral® in persistent migraines has been clinically proven. Caffeine which is part of Vasobral®, has a psychostimulant and analeptic effect. The ergot alkaloid which is part of the drug - blocks the adrenergic receptors of the smooth muscle walls of blood vessels when the tone of the blood vessels is reduced. And in the case of high vascular tone - it blocks the vasoconstrictor action.
