Pharmacological action - antiestrogenic

Clostilbegyt blocks estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus and ovaries, increases the secretion of pituitary gonadotropic hormones (LH, FSH), which stimulates the maturation and endocrine activity of the follicle; as a result Clostilbegyt stimulates ovulation and increases the concentration of estradiol in the blood.
