Nystatin (suppositories)

Vaginal suppositories of Nystatin should be injected deep into the vagina. The usual dose is 1 suppositorie in the morning and evening. Duration of treatment is 14 days. During the menstruation the treatment should not be interrupted. During the treatment period - sexual contact should be avoided. Treatment of the sexual partner is necessary. When pregnancy - Nystatin suppositories may be prescribed by the doctor in acute need. (aka Mycostatin, Nilstat, Nystex, Nadostine)
